It’s time to return to the Great Southwest Equestrian Center for the Heritage Classic Reining, and we’re excited to kick off another great weekend together! This year, we’re shining a spotlight on our beginner exhibitors with the Ride & Slide PALOOZA on Saturday evening.
Here are some highlights for the show:
• Wheless Arena will be available for exhibitors warming up for upcoming classes
• STRHA is offering six buckles for winners of: – Green Reiner Lvl 1 – Intermediate NP – Prime Time NP – Masters NP – Rookie Lvl 1 – STRHA 3K Rookie
• Pizza party on Saturday evening during the Ride & Slide Palooza
• Prizes for all exhibitors showing in the Ride & Slide classes
• Highest overall score in the Ride & Slide classes will win a buckle
• Use the online entry service on ShowManager.Info to be entered into a drawing for a free stall
• Popsicles in the show office—because who doesn’t love a little treat!
Attached are the show schedule, the fill‑in paper entry form, and instructions for using the online inscription service. The paid warmup sign-up sheet will open on August 20th. An email will be sent, and the link will be posted on GSWEC.com/events and on Telegram.
We are looking for sponsors to help cover the cost of the Ride & Slide Buckle, prizes, and pizza party. This is a great opportunity to encourage beginner riders and support their reining journey.
A quick heads‑up for our Great Pumpkin Slide show in October—we’re gearing up for a Futurity! I’m seeking sponsor support to add money to the Futurity classes, prizes, and an exhibitor party. Let’s end our reining year with a bang.
